This case study shows how UAV data is used to calculate daily earthworks on a quarry. A base DSM was generated and incremental flights were done on a daily basis to see where material were picked up and moved. This was to track cut and fill volumes and locations for 8 weeks. Because of the repetitive nature, FME was used to do the initial cut and fill models. The results are then analysed in QGIS using the zonal score calculator and a report is generated for each day.
